The Professional License Program in Nail Art and Advanced Techniques meets all state requirements and prepares you to obtain your Manicurist License in Indiana. With a total of 450 in-person hours, it combines theory, intensive practice, and professional development so you graduate fully prepared to work as a licensed manicurist.
In addition, this program has been designed so that beyond working professionally in the state of Indiana, you can stand out wherever you go by applying the most modern and up-to-date techniques in the industry.

Trajectory
With nearly a decade of experience in the beauty industry, Alejandra Michelle began her nail career at just 15 years old. She grew up surrounded by a family legacy of women in beauty, spending her childhood in salons and following in the footsteps of her mother, aunts, and sisters — all licensed cosmetologists. At 19, she opened her own salon and since then has traveled to Ecuador, Panama, Mexico, and Spain to perfect her skills in acrylic, gel, Russian manicure, and other advanced nail techniques.
Passion
Her passion is not only to teach modern techniques, but also to shape well-rounded professionals: confident women, capable of becoming entrepreneurs and achieving economic independence through beauty
Vision
Today, Alejandra is a licensed instructor in the state of Indiana. Her vision is clear: to build the number one manicurist program in Indiana — a space where the Latino community and other communities have access to quality education and the opportunity to earn a professional license that opens doors anywhere in the world.

First Day of Class
January 12, 2026.
Monday - Friday | 9 am- 3:30 pm
Our full-time program lasts 450 hours (13 weeks, 3 months), which is the State of Indiana requirement to obtain the Manicurist License. During this time, you will receive organized, high-quality training, with both practice and theory that prepares you to enter the beauty industry and position yourself in the market as a professional.
Note: Additional hours and up to two weeks of recovery time have been scheduled for students who need to catch up. Absences may extend an individual’s completion date, but the graduation ceremony will still take place on the date indicated.

- Provide proof of 8th grade level education or higher
- Use uniform daily

In accordance with the State of Indiana, a valid Social Security Number (SSN) is required to obtain the State Manicurist License.
Students who do not have an SSN may still enroll and, upon completion, will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by AM Beauty College. This certificate validates their training but does not replace the state license.
